A biorevitalization peel (PRX-T33) is a skin tightening peel without exfoliation. PRX-T33 contains a combination of Trichloroacetic Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide and Kojic Acid. It penetrates deep and acts on the epidermal layer down to the basal layer, stimulating it to regenerate and renew. It is able to remove toughened skin without damaging the epidermis. You will receive immediate hydration, firmness and tightening post treatment.

PRX-T33 is not photosensitizing. This means you can have this treatment any time during the year, including during the summer when the sun is at its strongest.

A low dose hydrogen peroxide will protect the tissues and enhance the affinity for growth factor receptors. TCA at 33% is a powerful peeling agent, and without the addition of hydrogen peroxide it would cause considerable frosting/peeling for several days. However, the addition of hydrogen peroxide allows the TCA to permeate beneath the epidermis to reach the dermis.

At this level, the keratinocyte and fibroblast growth factors are stimulated and the healing response begins and is accompanied by immediate visible improvement, with no down time.

Trichloroacetic Acid 33%: Stimulates growth of fibroblasts in the skin for collagen regeneration. Trichloroacetic Acid has anti-inflammatory properties, it effectively cleans pores from accumulated cutaneous fat, debris of cosmetics and micro particles of dirt, destroys pathogenic bacteria that cause acne formation, and increases the elasticity of the dermis.

Hydrogen Peroxide: Has a strong antiseptic effect on the treated area of the skin. Upon contact with the epidermis, hydrogen peroxide promotes the release of oxygen, which mechanically cleans the skin surface from all types of contaminants. Hydrogen peroxide fills skin cells with pure oxygen that increases sensitivity of receptors.

Kojic Acid: Kojic Acid brightens the treated area. The chemical composition of this acid suppresses the production of melanin. It’s used to eliminate pigmentation and freckles, removes traces of post-acne, chickenpox, small scars and cicatrices.

We will start by cleansing and drying the treatment area before applying the peel. Once your skin is prepped and ready, we’ll apply the peel as a topical solution and gently massage it as your skin absorbs the solution. The solution will penetrate the dermal and basal layers of the skin. We will reapply the solution a few times throughout a 30-minute session before rinsing your face and applying moisturizer. Once absorbed, the chemical solution will stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. These are the primary elements responsible for keeping your skin firm and youthful. The treatment essentially has no discomfort and you’ll feel a slight stinging occasionally, as the peel does the job.
