How do PRX-T33 treatment work?
A low dose hydrogen peroxide will protect the tissues and enhance the affinity for growth factor receptors. TCA at 33% is a powerful peeling agent, and without the addition of hydrogen peroxide it would cause considerable frosting/peeling for several days. However, the addition of hydrogen peroxide allows the TCA to permeate beneath the epidermis to reach the dermis.
At this level, the keratinocyte and fibroblast growth factors are stimulated and the healing response begins and is accompanied by immediate visible improvement, with no down time.
What is the PRX-T33 treatment process like?
We will start by cleansing and drying the treatment area before applying the peel.
Once your skin is prepped and ready, we’ll apply the peel as a topical solution and gently massage it as your skin absorbs the solution. The solution will penetrate the dermal and basal layers of the skin.
We will reapply the solution a few times throughout a 30-minute session before rinsing your face and applying moisturizer. Once absorbed, the chemical solution will stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.

What ingredients are in PRX-T33 treatments?
